Air conditioning in central Prague means listed buildings, heritage restrictions, tiny plant rooms and clients who cannot afford downtime. Our work starts with the design, continues with the installation and never really ends - because the F-gas inspection is mandatory every single year.

What businesses in Prague 1 ask most often

I.When is an F-gas inspection mandatory?+
If the unit holds refrigerant equivalent to more than 5 tonnes of CO₂e (with common R32 that works out at roughly 3 kg, with R410A even less), Czech law requires a leak check at least every 12 months. Hermetically sealed systems above 10 t CO₂e carry the same duty. Multi-split and VRF systems in commercial premises almost always cross that line. Without a record, fines reach 1,500,000 CZK.
II.How much does annual service cost?+
For a standard office unit (split or multi-split) it works out at 1,800 - 3,000 CZK a year depending on type, installation height and how many units sit at one address. Contract clients where we cover a whole building get volume discounts. The price covers two visits a year (spring and autumn), cleaning, refrigerant check and filter replacement.
III.Do you only cover Prague 1?+
Our geo-specialisation targets Prague 1, 2, 3 and 7 (the centre and wider centre). Batched service runs mean faster response and lower travel costs. If you have a branch elsewhere in Prague, we will work it out individually. Outside Prague we only take work for existing contract clients.
IV.What if a unit dies the day before a heatwave?+
For clients with a service contract and priority support, arrival within 24 hours is part of the price. Without a contract we respond as capacity allows - during a July heatwave typically 3 to 7 days. Sign the service contract in spring, not at the moment it stops working.
V.Do you install new units as well?+
Yes. Most often multi-split for offices (1 outdoor + 2 to 5 indoor units) and VRF for hotels and larger office buildings. We also do heat recovery units and heat pump plus cooling combinations. Design, sizing, installation, commissioning, handover of all certificates. In listed buildings in Prague 1 we also handle the paperwork with the heritage authority.
VI.Do you cool server rooms and data centres?+
Yes, up to 20 kW of cooling capacity. Our IT division Let IT Bee manages client server rooms across Prague, so we understand uptime requirements, N+1 redundancy and monitoring over SNMP/Zabbix. For larger data centre projects we recommend specialists (COMPLETE CZ, F-klima).
VII.What is the difference between contract and one-off service?+
Contract service = fixed annual price, inspection dates scheduled automatically, priority emergency support, F-gas deadlines tracked for you. One-off service = we fix what you have and bill time plus materials, and remembering the next date is up to you. For companies that would rather not deal with the admin, we recommend the contract.
